With the jump to the new generation of consoles, several distributors raised the price of their new releases. It is news that consumers did not like, so many were upset when reading a report that said that Sony wanted the increase to be higher. However, the brand assures that this is false.

Recently, Jim Ryan, President and CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, gave an interview to The Telegraph. In it he denied that among his plans was to increase the price of his releases beyond the $ 70 USD they cost.

“I can say that the report that we are considering higher prices for our first-party games is categorically false,” were Ryan’s words.
