The editorial Panini Manga announced through social networks its third launch for next year. The acclaimed manga Chainsaw man, written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto (creator of Fire Punch), will arrive in Mexico in February 2021. Each compilation volume will cost $ 129 pesos and will go on sale every two months.

The official synopsis of the Japanese publisher Shūeisha reads as follows:

« The name says it all! Denji’s life of poverty changes forever when he merges with his pet dog Pochita! Now he lives in the big city and is an official demon hunter. But he has a lot to learn about his new job and the powers of the chainsaw! «

Chainsaw Man began its serialization on December 3, 2018 in the pages of Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine. The work of Tatsuki Fujimoto was part of the ranking in the male category of the guide Kono Manga ga Sugoi! in 2020 and has been nominated for prestigious awards such as the Manga Taishō, Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Awards, and the Shogakukan Manga Award. The manga entered its « final stage » in early November.

Chainsaw Man has to date nine compilation volumes in tankōbon format and last October surpassed 4.2 million copies in circulation in Japan. You can read the first three chapters and follow the simulreases legally and for free in English through the application Manga Plus.

This title joins the previous announcements of Spy × Family and the sequel To Love Ru Darkness. It should be remembered that Panini Manga also publishes Fire Punch by Tatsuki Fujimoto in our country.
