A great success, was the realization of the first University Sports Congress, held during the previous week in a virtual way and which had the participation of prominent speakers, for the benefit of the Laguna students.
Through the organization of the Autonomous University of La Laguna (UAL), this activity brought together students of all levels of the degree in communication and journalism, but also from other thematic areas, since diverse and interesting topics were discussed not only for those who They are interested in sports, but for life in general. The activities began last Monday with a presentation by Fernando Schwartz, a renowned sports journalist who shared some of his most exciting experiences by covering the stories that have captivated Mexicans for decades.
The Spanish Sergio Molina Soler also participated on Tuesday 10th, who in his talk highlighted the importance of teamwork as the true generator of results, while the next day, the talk was given by Jared Borgetti, one of the most recognized sports figures in the region, being the top scorer in the history of Santos Laguna. Natalia Santa – Bárbara, world triathlon champion and pentathlete, shared her experiences at the conference on Thursday the 12th, when she put discipline as the key factor for success.
The congress closed with a talk by Karla Gallardo, a high school student at the UAL and an outstanding gymnast from La Laguna, is part of the national team and explained how passion and perseverance are the basis of all sports and professional activities.
