Despite its worldwide success, the TikTok platform is experiencing its first large-scale controversy after Mike Pompeo, Secretary of State of the United States, suggested that the government should ban it after considering it as a spy platform for China because its handling of data gives rise to thinking about it. As a result of this and all the information that flows on social networks, some personalities changed their stance around TikTok, such as Tyler « Ninja » Blevins, one of the most famous streamers in the world.
Through his official Twitter account, Tyler « Ninja » Blevins, the famous streamer who reached the top thanks to Fortnite: Battle Royale and who seems to be back on YouTube after passing through Twitch and Mixer, revealed that he has uninstalled the TikTok application of all your mobile devices. In that sense, Blevins indicated that he made that decision due to the data collection that TikTok supposedly carries out and wished that a company, that is not related to China, replicates the concept in a legal way so that people can continue enjoying fun content.
I have deleted the TIK TOK app off all my devices. Hopefully a less intrusive company (data farming) that is not owned by China can recreate the concept legally, such funny and amazing content on the app from influencers.
