New record for Deschamps!

At the head of the Blues since the summer of 2012, Didier Deschamps added a line to the list of his records with the France team.

These 3016 days in the tricolor coach costume surpass the 3014 experienced by Michel Hidalgo between March 27, 1976, the date of his baptism against Czechoslovakia, which was also that of Michel Platini, and his exit in apotheosis on June 27, 1984 , date of the final of Euro 1984. As regards directed matches, Didier Deschamps is already far ahead with no less than 108 matches against 75 for his glorious predecessor and 79 for Raymond Domenech.
