The Honda CB1000 R undergoes an interesting renovation, with better equipment and new bodywork that reinforces that “Neo Sports Café” image that it showed us since 2018.
This model evolves, with respect to its previous version, to offer us a more aggressive and elegant image, its aesthetic called “Neo sports Café” refers to the past, but with a focus on the future with the latest equipment and security elements .
So we found a motorcycle with a retro touch, but very sporty with the engine finished in black that gives it elegance, the lines of the fuel tank were created in an ergonomic way for a perfect fit of the legs, achieving a very beautiful motorcycle physically, but at the same time quite comfortable.
The engine is still a 998 cc four-cylinder, with two camshafts, which generates 143 hp and a torque of 104 Nm, although for this version the engine had some tweaks in the injection, which improve the response making it smoother and overcoming and Euro 5, (European regulation that came into force as of this year 2020).
For this version it has an assisted and anti-bounce clutch, the motorcycle still has three programmed riding modes in addition to a User mode configurable by the rider.
It incorporates Showa SFF-BP fork and adjustable rear shock, which shows that the new Honda CB1000 R 2021 did not have such a radical change but in terms of equipment and technology.
In addition, the CB1000R 2021 has new forms of the headlight and aluminum subframe, it also adds an instrument panel or TFT with HSVC (Honda Smart Voice Control) system with bluetooth connection, which allows voice control of the mobile phone connected to the helmet intercom and it has a new socket with a USB port under the seat.
In terms of safety, new elements are also added such as the indicators with an emergency braking system, which turn on automatically when the system detects a strong deceleration or an emergency braking and the adjustable front fork of the Showa brand with separate function. , the rear shock absorber also by Showa is adjustable in spring preload and in rebound.
For braking, it has two 310mm radial-mount four-piston calipers at the front, complemented by a two-piston caliper and a 256mm disc at the rear and ABS.
The new CB1000R has 3 levels of engine power, engine brake and torque control. You can choose between the rain, standard and sport modes as presets or adjust each parameter to your liking with the USER mode.
