New GCam mod brings Pixel 5 camera to more Android phones

If a few days ago we talked about the GCAM, which in its version 8.1 added a function for those cases in which we have the capacity of our mobile to the capacity limit, now we have to refer to the Google camera again. More exactly to the parallel developments in the form of mods for other models, advances than with the Google Camera 8.0 take the camera of Pixel 5 to OnePlus, Xiaomi, ASUS phones …

We will not go into detail why the Google Camera is such a desired application. And it is thanks to the developer community that all of us who do not own a Pixel can enjoy it. This version that has just been released is important, because when carrying the Pixel 5’s camera interface allows access to some differential features and a new design.

A new interface … and much more

The arrival of this mod is important because with the arrival of the same camera app that the Pixel 5 enjoys, a completely different interface also arrives and new functions. Improvements from which new models can also benefit.

It has been the XDA member, Arnova8G2, in charge of bringing GCam 8.0 (it has been based on 8.0.101) to new non-Pixel devices. This is the list of models that can benefit of this version:

The Google Camera 8.0 mod includes an interface that changes completely. The buttons have changed, the stabilization settings, the night mode now works automatically without warning, it is integrated into the button, a quick zoom change arrives, quick access to video modes, a new icon for video recording and signals for help users click a better image.

This in regard to the interface design, because new functions arrive at the same time such as Audio Zoom, Cinematic Pan, storage saving mode (present in GCam 8.1) and sharing on social networks for videos.
