If Neymar and Kylian Mbappé will be present this Friday to face Monaco on behalf of the 11th day of Ligue 1, PSG must deal with a new absence.
The attack on PSG should look great on Friday on Louis II’s lawn. Absent for a month due to a thigh injury, Neymar is preparing to make his comeback with the club in the capital. And so it is with Kylian Mbappé, also hit in the thigh, and who had missed the last two matches of the champions of France before the international break. An uncertain time, Moses Kean will also be present.
So much for the good news. Because there is no shortage of absences. Thilo Kehrer and Juan Bernat are obviously still injured and Julian Draxler as well as’Idrissa Gueye will not resume until next week. If they made their return to training this week, Mauro icardi and Marco veratti, whose condition of the thigh is still worrying, are still in the recovery phase.
And Thomas Tuchel will have to do with another absence, that of Ander Herrera, who was however expected to start the meeting. The Spanish international suffered a blow to the calf on Thursday and was preserved for the next Parisians, including the shock against Leipzig, in the Champions League, Tuesday.
Present at Monaco, some players should be preserved like Alessandro Florenzi Marquinhos or Leandor Paredes, who played this week with their selections.
The PSG group:
Letellier, Navas, Rico – Bakker, Dagba, Diallo, Florenzi, Kimpembe, Kurzawa, Marquinhos – Danilo, Fadiga, Paredes, Pembele, Rafinha, Ruiz – Di Maria, Kean, Mbappé, Neymar, Sarabia
Herrera (calf), Verratti (recovery), Icardi (recovery), Draxler (recovery at the end of next week), Gueye (recovery next week), Kherer (pubalgie), Bernat (knee)
