Competing in Group D in EuroBasket 2022 Qualification, 12 Giant Men managed to beat Sweden 88-80 in the critical match played today. With this result, while the crescent-stars got their second victory in their fifth match, they could not win the match by 13 points, leaving the chance to leave the group until the last week.
Good news came from the Croatia-Netherlands match in the other match played in the group for the moon-stars. The undefeated group leaders Netherlands team was able to beat Croatia 57-65 and qualify for the EuroBasket last match with Turkey without this result.
