NBA : The Barça puts on the overalls to take the triumph of Zaragoza

By Alex Molina /

FC Barcelona has added the second win of the week after beating Casademont Zaragoza by RESULTAT in a match in which the azulgranas have had to put on their work suits to beat the locals, who despite a good start to the game ended up succumbing to the visiting power.

The game started brilliantly for the locals, who, in need of victories, went all out against the probably best team in Europe with nothing to lose and with Dylan Ennis on fire with 14 points in the first quarter. Despite the great start of the premises and that a deranged Mirotic did not enter the game at any time (2 rating for the Spanish-Montenegrin), neither team achieved notable advantages, showing that Zaragoza can compete against any team and that Barça does not like physical and intense teams, 42-41 after the first twenty minutes.

Calathes and Jasikevicius had an impact at half-time on the need to be more physical to be able to win the match and how could it be otherwise, Oriola shone in these circumstances -14 points, 3 rebounds and a PIR of 20 for Tárrega- to be the best Barça man at the beginning of the third quarter, in which Barça came to go 16 up with 47-63 after a 0-18 run.

The losses of Zaragoza, who went six minutes without scoring in the third quarter, and Benzing and Ennis’s scoring blackout doomed the locals, who after 10-29 of the third quarter they could no longer do anything to question the victory of Barça, which ended up arriving in a placid way with 85-97.

Barça thus adds its ninth win in the Endesa League and follows in the wake of Iberostar Tenerife and Real Madrid, while Zaragoza will continue for another week in compromised positions with only 2 wins and 9 losses.
