Hassan Martin was injured in the game between Olympiakos and Efes Anadolu and it was found from the examinations that he has a problem in his meniscus.

If he does not have something much more serious, that is, if his cruciate ligament was not damaged, an operation (arthroscopy) may be needed to completely repair the damage.
According to the first information, Hassan Martin will miss some weeks of competitive action (2-4 weeks if he has an arthroscopy) and obviously for this reason Olympiakos moved in a flash for the acquisition of Costas Koufos.
A move that of course can have more future, since the information says that Olympiacos will sign with him for the rest of the current season, and will discuss an “option” for the entire next year thereafter! Of course, Olympiakos needed a big body like that of Koufos anyway, regardless of Martin’s injury.
