The candidate for the Barça presidency would have thought of Juan Carlos Navarro, current technical secretary for training basketball, to be one of the strong men in the basketball section

As Marc Mundet from RAC1 has indicated, Joan Laporta has thought of Juan Carlos Navarro to be one of the pillars of the Barça section in case he wins the presidential elections.
Without specifying his role yet, Laporta’s idea would be to give a much more important role to the Barça myth, moving from his current position of technical secretary for training basketball to one of much more responsibility.

Joan Laporta wants Juan Carlos Navarro to be part of the top of the Barça basketball section if he wins the elections. It has been weeks since contacts between the parties, although there is no record of whether or not Navarro has finally accepted the proposal pic.twitter.com/5bHlkoSWxm

There would have already been the first contacts between the candidate and the former player but there are still many issues to be resolved. The first of all is the presence of Nacho Rodríguez as General Manger, who has a current contract and who maintains a great relationship with both Sarunas Jasikevicius and Juan Carlos Navarro.
What is clear is that both Joan Laporta and other candidates such as Víctor Font have thought of Navarro to be one of the main faces of the project, undoubtedly a great name to carry in the candidacy due to the great devotion that arouses in the Barça public, but without yet having materialized anything.
