Mystery surrounds the disappearance of a nurse who treated patients with coronavirus in Sinaloa, Mexico

This Friday, 22 days after his disappearance, relatives, friends and acquaintances of Glorimar López García, the nurse kidnapped from her own home, marched in Mazatlan Sinaloa, so that the authorities advance with the procedures to find the whereabouts of the 26-year-old woman.

The protest on the Malecón in Mazatlán began at about 4 pm, and paralyzed part of the traffic, according to the Noroeste report.

The nurse, whose work against COVID-19 at the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) has been publicly recognized, may have been a victim of crime, according to the search form of the Sinaloa Attorney General’s Office.

The events occurred in the Misiones subdivision. In the early morning hours of that day, at approximately 3 am, the 26-year-old was apparently deprived of her liberty while at her home.

López García is the mother of three girls, 6 years, 2 years and 11 months.

According to her sister, the young woman was nominated in September to be recognized for her performance in the face of the emergency by coronavirus.
