Mortal Kombat movie reveals brutal battles in trailer

As scheduled, Warner Bros. today released the first official trailer for the new Mortal Kombat movie. There is good news for fans of the franchise, as the trailer will leave many satisfied with its characters and all its action.

The company shared a snippet of the trailer on social media and invited fans to view the full video from YouTube. This since the advance has an age restriction, as it contains brutal scenes with bloody combat.

The video clearly demonstrates that the new film will honor the brutality that characterizes the fighting franchise. The trailer introduces us to various iconic characters from the saga, such as Sub-Zero, Raiden, Sonya Blade, among others.

They will all meet Cole Young, an original character for the film. The mixed martial arts fighter will meet the warriors after finding out that he has special abilities. This is how a deadly war against Shang Tsung and his forces will begin. As expected, each of the characters will fight with some of their most powerful and recognized abilities.

“From New Line Cinema comes the explosive new cinematic adventure Mortal Kombat, inspired by the successful video game franchise, which recently enjoyed the most successful video game launch in its history, Mortal Kombat 11,” said Warner Bros.
