Mexican actor Tenoch Huerta joins the cast of the second installment of Black Panther as one of the villains, reported the specialized media The Hollywood Reporter.
At the moment it is unknown which character he will play in the film that will begin shooting in July 2021 in Atlanta, the production will last approximately six months.
Huerta could become the first Mexican to play a villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Other nationals who have been part of the Marvel universe are Salma Hayek and Michael Peña.
For now it is unknown what will happen to the protagonist of the film, because after the death of Chadwick Boseman, Disney is forced to rethink the plans of Black Panther 2.
In addition to his second solo adventure, Marvel also had plans for Black Panther in different MCU movies. If they do not replace the actor, that means that his character has also died. But there are some interesting options to keep his legacy alive, such as his sister Shuri, played by Letitia Wright.
