Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Want to “Keep the Peace” in the Royal Family

Ever heard the phrase, “a baby is a blessing”? Well it seems like that couldn’t be any more true for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after welcoming their daughter, Lilibet Diana, last week. Lilibet, according to multiple reports, seems to be a unifying bundle of joy for the fam, and even better? She’s inspiring mom and dad to keep things “civil” with the rest of the royals, according to Us Weekly.

“It’s no secret that the last year Harry and Meghan have been at war with the royals,” the Us source explains. “All is not forgiven, but after all the backlash regarding their interviews – which by the way, the pair have no regrets about – they’re trying their utmost to maintain a good relationship with the queen in order to keep the peace.”

Us Weekly also confirmed an In Touch report, which stated that “the queen was one of the first people Harry and Meghan told about the birth and they’ve sent her photos … she has put the drama from the interviews aside and is overjoyed to be a great-grandmother again. “

It’s likely good news that Queen Elizabeth is ready to put some of the family drama aside now that Lilibet is here, because Us’s source added that Meghan and Harry are really trying “to avoid being demoted as a royal at all costs … and at worst-case scenario, losing their titles. ” (Hmmm, kinda sounds like they’re hoping for Lilibet and Archie to get a “prince” and “princess” title, y / n?)

Thanking God that the royal fam is on better terms these days — the last thing Meghan and the baby needs is stress from uncomfy tensions with relatives!
