With more than a year to go until the premiere of Robert Pattinson’s long-awaited reboot, ‘The Batman,’ SuperHeroHype report that director Matt Reeves plans to expand this universe with a series focused on the Gotham City Police Department. and have the collaboration of the creator of ‘Walkwalk Empire’, Terence Winter.

The new series, written by Winter, will take place within the universe that Reeves is creating with the film that will arrive in 2021. The story will delve into the corruption of Gotham City and offer a great opportunity to expand the world established in the film, exploring in more detail Gotham’s convincing and complex characters.

The project comes just after the agreement reached between Reves and Warner Bros. Production company Reeves, 6th & Idaho to produce the series alongside Warner Bros. Television, with Reeves himself, Winter and Dylan Clark as executive producers.
