Mathieu Valbuena will not return to face OM, his former club, at the Stade Vélodrome on December 1 in the Champions League. The Olympiakos midfielder is injured for several weeks.
We will not see his effigy hanging from a rope or projectiles thrown in his direction. Mathieu Valbuena will not relive this funny September 20, 2015. For his return to the Stade Vélodrome, after eight years spent with the OM jersey (2006-2014), the French midfielder was greeted with hostility from part of the Marseille public during the match between Marseille and Lyon.
The December 1st, there will be no spectators to attend OM-Olympiakos (4th day of the Champions League), nor Mathieu Valbuena. The Greek club player is on the sidelines for a little while, he announced on social media on Thursday.
Unfortunately, I got injured in practice and I will miss the next few weeks.
I remain 100% behind the team as usual! Let’s go #Olympiacos 🔴⚪ pic.twitter.com/4FiwY5JIdY
