Roberto Leal announced on August 31 that he had tested positive for coronavirus, so he had to absent himself from the recordings of ‘Pasapalabra’ momentarily until he recovered. In this way, Antena 3 gave the presenter position to Manel Fuentes, who would lead the contest until the Andalusian’s return, which occurred 11 days later.
Manel Fuentes, substitute presenter of ‘Pasapalabra’
Once recovered, both presenters took the opportunity to celebrate Leal’s return and comment on « the ins and outs of ‘Pasapalabra’ », as Fuentes himself has shared on his social networks. In addition, they have also indicated the day we can see you in the contest and when their participation will end, which will be sooner than previously thought.
Manel Fuentes will only present two installments of ‘Pasapalabra’, the first of these being Friday, September 18. The second and last will occur Monday 21, so that, the next day, the contest will return to normal with Roberto Leal back at the helm. The fact that Catalan was only needed for two deliveries shows that Antena 3 has foresight towards the contest, with various programs stored in the chamber for what may happen.
Back to work
On September 11, Roberto Leal shared an image on his social networks outside Atresmedia, showing that he was already returning to work after having recovered from coronavirus and testing negative in the PCR. The presenter announced his « back to school », thanking those closest to him, the health personnel and Fuentes himself his work and his love during the time he is isolated.
