Manchester, it’s not too early

It is done. The Red Devils notched their first Premier League home success of the season. The small event occurred on Saturday night against West Bromwich (1-0, 9th day of the Premier League).

So it took them five games to finally win at Old Trafford this season in the league. The players of Manchester United beat West Bromwich Albion on Saturday night on the 9th day by the smallest score (1-0) thanks to the indispensable Bruno Fernandes.

The Portuguese midfielder scored his 6th goal of the season, from the penalty spot, following a hand from Darnell Furlong (56th), but with the precious help of video-assisted refereeing. Samuel Johnstone was judged to have stepped forward too early.

Too bad for the West Brom goalkeeper who had stopped Fernandes’ first attempt. In the second, the former Sporting Portugal placed the ball in force to the right of Johnstone.

After failures against Crystal Palace (1-3), Tottenham (1-6), Chelsea (0-0) and Arsenal (0-1), the Red Devils finally win at home and temporarily climb to 9th place on Saturday night of the rank. West Bromwich Albion remains 18th with three small points.
