‘Lord of the Rings’ series to include sets created by Tolkien

Amazon Studios has confirmed that his next series spin-off on ‘Lord of the Rings’ explore in depth the world of books written by JRR Tolkien.

The official synopsis of the series explains that it will be located thousands of years before the events of ‘The Hobbit’ and ‘Lord of the Rings’, in addition to including the Island of Númenor as one of its main locations.

It was recently announced that the filming of the pilot episode, which was produced in New Zealand, while the release date of the series still remains a mystery, although it is expected to be released at the end of the 2021.
