Just a couple of weeks ago it was released Little Nightmares II, and although the game was very well received by specialized critics, the future of the franchise is at risk since Tarsier Studios, its developers, will focus only on the creation of new IPs.

Embracer Group, parent company of Tarsier Studios, confirmed during the most recent financial report that these developers will no longer work on other games of Little Nightmares. Lars Wingefors, CEO of the company, said that after the launch of Little Nightmares II, Tarsier will focus exclusively on new IPs:

“Tarsier Studios, from now on, will focus on creating new IPs.”

Sure, there is a possibility that the saga of Little nightmares come back in the future, but considering these statements, chances are you will have a very good time before we see any new titles.
