Liam Neeson wants his character to return to ‘Star Wars’

Liam Neeson has shown interest in returning to the franchise of ‘Star Wars’ bringing to life the character he played in ‘The Phantom Menace’, Qui-Gon Jinn.

Neeson has revealed that he would like his character to appear in the new series spin-off which will be centered on the character of Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was played by Ewan McGregor, being the young Padawan of Jinn.

Though Neeson had a short appearance in the franchise, as he only appeared in one tape where he was killed by Darth maul, the relationship Master-Padawan between Jinn and Kenobi was something that resonated in the life of the character of Mcgregor during all his life.
