A legend returns to Barcelona: Koeman will have a luxury assistant

The Dutch coach makes up his coaching staff to start the new culé project.

With the arrival of Ronald Koeman to the technical direction, the Barcelona directors seek to give a new air to the squad, after a difficult season, adorned by failures.

As part of this restructuring, this Friday, the Catalan club announced the hiring of one of the club’s legends, who will be the assistant to the Dutch strategist for the following seasons. This is Henrik Larsson, who will join Koeman’s coaching staff alongside Alfred Schreuder for the next two years.

Larsson, played in Barcelona from 2004 to 2006, and is remembered by culés fans for his performance in the 2006 Champions League final, after entering from the bench and assisting Samuel Eto’o and Belletti to overcome a match 0 -1 against, against Arsenal.
