Khabib Nurmagomedov on his role as a coach: “Never ever late … never in my life”

A video of Khabib Nurmagomedov goes viral stating that he is never late for training. Coach Javier Méndez shared a video of with Khabib Nurmagomedov stating that “He’s never late for training, ever.”

It has been 9 months since Khabib Nurmagomedov announced his retirement. The Russian hung up his gloves after beating Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 October 2020. Despite the rumors that ‘The Eagle’ would return, there was not a small clue from the Russian himself that he would return. Finally, he put an end to all those rumors, after officially announce your retirement on March 18, 2021.


Since his retirement, Khabib has taken on the role of promoter and coach. In December, he bought the Gorilla Fighting Championship and renamed it the Eagle Fighting Championship. And since the beginning of 2021, too began training his brothers and Dagestani wrestlers to win victories in various promotions.

In a recent video shared by Khabib’s coach, Javier Méndez, you can see Khabib stating that he is never late for training, as a coach.

“Never late, never late … Never ever, never in my life … We are talking about me as a coach.”

Although, Méndez agrees later goes on to accuse Khabib of changing plans and never letting him know about them. Khabib can be seen smiling guiltily right after Méndez’s indictment.
