The Pokémon series celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2021. Although at the moment we do not have a clear idea of the announcements planned for this year, it seems that a sequel to Pokkén Tournament is not off the table. Recently, Katsuhiro harada, producer of this title and head of Tekken, He mentioned that he would love to work on a sequel to this fighting game, but there is only one problem.

Through his Twitter account, Harada responded to the question of a fan, who asked about the possibility of seeing a Pokkén Tournament 2. Although the producer would find him working on a sequel, the final decision is in the hands of Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. This was what he commented:

“U.S [Bandai Namco] We have a good relationship with Nintendo and Pokemon Co., Ltd., and POKKÉN has had a great response, so I’d like to do it again.

But it is not what we decide, it is what they decide ”.

Pokkén Tournamente was developed by Bandai Namco and originally came to the Wii U in 2015. In 2017 a DX version was released for the Nintendo Switch, which offers us the DLC that came out for this title in a single package. Although it is a spin-off, this title has been well received by fans, to the extent of having a participation in the world tournaments of Pokémon every year. Let’s hope to see an announcement related to this game in 2021.

In related topics, a rumor indicates that the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes would be revealed next month. Similarly, rare TCG cards are sold for more than $ 7 million pesos.
