Jeremy ‘Lil Heathen’ Stephens wants to fight Conor McGregor next. The veteran American fighter had a night to forget at the UFC Fight Night event: Makhachev vs Moises. Stephens faced Mateusz Gamrot and succumbed to a submission loss.

And the same thing happened with Conor McGregor. The former champion faced back-to-back losses for the first time in his career, falling for the second time to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 track. TKO (due to medical stoppage).

There was a time when McGregor and Stephens were at the peak of their powers (during the mid-2010s). Things have gone pretty bad for both UFC fighters. While Stephens has won just 3 fights and lost 6 since 2017, McGregor has managed to win just 1 of his last 4 fights.

With both of us looking down and out cold, Stephens has an idea that he hopes to materialize. Saying that both he and McGregor are the ones who would like to ‘stand up and fight’, ‘Lil Heathen’ tweeted:

“Just thinking… the real fight to make is Conor against me. He broke his ankle, someone jumped for my ankle. We both like to fight and stand. We both have power and we are both different. Also, I like to kick my calf and have a wide KO range. “
