The new series, whose pilot would have been written by Guy bolton, will follow the character in his youth in London and will have a much darker tone because it will be linked to the series that Bad Robot also prepares on « Justice League Dark » or « Justice League Dark », the comic that brings together different DC characters with supernatural powers.

For that reason, it is said that the new ‘Constantine’ se will focus more on the horror elements of the comics than the religious. Furthermore, it is said that will be more diverse, which would mean that the actor chosen to play him is most likely colored. In fact, one of the names that have begun to sound is that of Riz Ahmed, although for now it is simply a rumor.

A new supernatural universe

It has not yet been officially confirmed which DC characters will be included in the series adaptation of HBO Max’s « Justice League Dark », but keep in mind that Constantine was part of the team in the comics, just like heroes like the Swamp Thing, Madame Xanadu, Deadman, Zatanna and Shade the Changing Man, among others.

Most likely The main characters of the series first have their own independent series before joining forces in ‘Justice League Dark’, following a strategy similar to that followed by Marvel Television on Netflix with ‘Marvel – The Defenders’, which brought together Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.
