The validity of games in digital format is limited and it seems that in those that make use of licenses it is even more so, as in the case of the titles of the Forza franchise. Unfortunately, and as has happened with other Forza Motorsport and Forza Horizon installments, the days are numbered for the digital version of Forza Horizon 3 and now, the information has been confirmed and is official.
Through a publication on the official Forza Horizon Twitter account, it was confirmed that the sale period that Forza Horizon 3 is currently in is due to its next exit from the Xbox store. According to the information, the Xbox One game that this time led us to enjoy and compete in an impressive recreation of Australia, has entered its « final phase of life » in commercial terms, so fans are invited to purchase the game and its DLC at a special price during these days and until September 28, when it will no longer be available on the online platform.
Despite the bad news, the same account pointed out that the goodbye of Forza Horizon 3 and its DLC will only take place in terms of the sale in digital format, which means that the online and multiplayer support will continue to operate as before.
When a game reaches « End of Life », that means it and its DLC will no longer be available for purchase in the Microsoft Store. However, features like multiplayer and online services will still be accessible for those that own the game.

So, we have to wait if what happened with Forza Motorsport 6 is repeated, which was part of the Games With Gold before being removed from the Xbox store. Currently, this franchise features Forza Horizon 4, a game that stood out since its launch for the impressive attention to detail in its representation of the United Kingdom, as well as its climate system that changes every week.
