ITF enforces extreme heat policy at the Olympics

After the vast majority of tennis players complained about the conditions in Tokyo (high temperatures and high humidity), the International Tennis Federation (ITF) has decided to apply the extreme heat policy that is already used in other major tournaments such as US Open or Australian Open. What does this mean? That the players will have ten minutes of rest between the second and third sets to be able to recover. In addition, the ITF opens the possibility for some matches to be suspended in extreme heat.
