One of the possible business objectives of Boston Celtics according to NBA rumors it is Malcolm Brogdon of the Indiana Pacers. In a recent article, Skyler Carlin of NBA Analysis Network came up with a hypothetical idea for a highly successful transfer between these teams.
In the proposed trade scenario, the Celtics would send a package that includes Marcus Smart, Tristan Thompson and a 2025 first-round pick to the Pacers in exchange for Brogdon. Boston will have to sacrifice Smart to get Brogdon, but after the Kemba Walker trade they need a first-rate point guard and this is a good opportunity for them.
Last season, Brogdon averaged 21.2 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.9 assists. It would be a great addition for the Celtics if they can get him on this summer.
