Indigenous community intends to become a municipality of Tlaxcala

The indigenous community of San Isidro Buensuceso, belonging to the municipality of San Pablo del Monte, they intend to make it independent and turn it into commune number 61 in the state of Tlaxcala.

Civil associations, religious groups, political actors and the population in general, have been holding roundtables for some time, have the objective of triggering the development of this demarcation that has its own identity, culture and traditions that differ from the rest of the 11 neighborhoods of the sanpablense territory.

About, Alberto Gonzalez Montes, who resides in this town that borders the state of Puebla, said that currently the demographic explosion is greater than 11 thousand inhabitants, so in the most recent visit to Tlaxcala by the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, they gave him a document where with fundamentals he is asked to rise in the rank of governance.

Also with the support of the community president, Francisco Javier Pérez Luna, have undertaken a “titanic” task of convincing the population, as well as carrying out the procedures that allow them to achieve their objective.

It was explained that the municipalization they are pursuing is under the name of « Original indigenous municipality », due to the qualities existing in Buensuceso.
