No Polish tennis player had ever won a tennis Grand Slam tournament, until Iga Swiatek achieved the feat this Saturday, by winning Roland Garros. Swiatek, just 19 years old and who came to the Paris clay as not seeded, was a tennis machine by not giving up a set throughout the tournament. In the final, she defeated Sofia Kenin without much trouble.
