The French driver suffered a violent excursion off the track during testing before Monte-Carlo.
Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia were very scared on Wednesday during pre-testing for the Monte-Carlo Rally. The French driver, the reigning world champion, suffered a spectacular off-track. The Gapençais came out unscathed, as did his co-driver.
“Early end of the test for us today,” Ogier commented on Twitter. We were surprised by slippery braking and got off the road. Sorry for the team for the extra work, but luckily we’re both OK. We will be ready to start the season at Monte-Carlo anyway. “
“Well, we cut down some trees. Sorry for that, Ingrassia added on Facebook. Maybe I’ll walk like a zombie for a few days… but there’s no doubt I’ll be at the start of “Monte” next week. “
Not the best start for 2021 season for world champions: rolled in Monte test, luckily both Ogier and Ingrassia are OK.
