We are browsing as usual and suddenly we realize that we have a considerable number of browser windows open. Our PC is about to explode. What can we do? Close all Firefox windows at once. We will explain how we can do it below.
It is quite normal that when we are looking for information we do not realize that we are opening several windows at the same time. Even when we work sometimes we need to have a large number of sites open at the same time.
Obviously having to press on the “X” of each Firefox window is somewhat annoying, so the ideal is to close all Firefox windows at the same time and doing so is not complicated at all.
How to close all Firefox windows at the same time
Whether you are on Windows or Linux, what you have to do is click on the icon of the three horizontal bars that are in the upper right corner of the screen and then click on the last option that says “Exit” as well you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Q.
In case you have a Mac, you will have to click on the “Firefox” menu that appears at the top of the screen and then we will select “Exit Firefox” we can also use the keyboard shortcut “Command + Q ”.
A pop-up window will appear where it warns us the number of windows that we are going to close and the number of tabs that are open in all the windows. We are simply going to click on “Close tabs” and that’s it.
Then we can see that one by one they will be closed, a process that is done very quickly and automatically. In case you want to recover the previous session to open all the windows again. All you have to do is click on the icon with the three horizontal bars in the upper right corner and select the option “Restore previous session”.
After clicking on “Restore the previous session” all the windows that we had closed will appear again. Although you must bear in mind that opening all of them at the same time is not the same as doing it manually one by one. Perhaps you may have problems with your computer if you have too many windows with open tabs.
