Gibraltar has only about 6 km² and 32,000 inhabitants, but it is the subject of a centuries-old territorial dispute between two European powers: Spain and the United Kingdom.
For the United Kingdom, Gibraltar is part of the « British family » but for Spain it is a colony, the only one in Europe.
In this video we tell you the story of how this corner of the Iberian Peninsula ended up being British and what status it has today.
