“He’s going to make me or he’s going to undo me”: Aung La Nsang recognizes the importance of his fight with Leonardo Ataides in ONE: Battleground

Although he is one of the biggest names in the history of ONE Championship, Aung la nsang he is clear that he cannot afford to suffer a third defeat in a row.

The first double champion in the history of the organization will see action again in the co-star of the ONE: Battleground this July 30 against the Brazilian Leonardo Ataides, and he knows that the only thing that serves him is a victory.

“It is a battle that will make me or it will undo me,” said Nsang during an interview with the portal of ONE. “But I am aware of the effort that I have made and of the team that I have. They have trained me well, so I am very confident that I will be victorious.

Nsang enters the event with two losses in a row against the promotion’s brand new double champion, Ridder’s Reinier, and admits that it has been a difficult thing to overcome.

“It’s sad and disappointing,” he confessed. But you have to analyze the development of the fight and how you can grow and evolve from that. My mindset is focused on growth, so I had to work to correct the things that didn’t go well in that fight. It’s a learning experience for me, and it’s okay. As depressing as it is, I take it as a life lesson.
