Following her directorial debut with Nerd Night, Olivia Wilde is back to direct a psychological thriller called Don’t Worry Darling. And now, the cast of the film that was already made up of actors such as Florence Pugh, Dakota Johnson and Chris Pine, has been joined by the singer and also actor Harry Styles.

Deadline exclusively released the news that the singer and actor known for his musical career with One Direction and for his solo career would be replacing the previously chosen to star in Shia Labouf, who has left production due to scheduling problems . Hary Styles, who is known in the cinema for his participation in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk, would have been chosen by both Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh after having a meeting with both.

At the moment details about the plot of Don’t Worry Darling are still unknown, however, Deadline still reported that the film is a high priority for New Line Cinema, the studios behind this new Wilde project. The production team has also been joined by Catherine Hardwicke, director of Twilight, as executive producer alongside Shane and Carey Van Dyke.

This would not be the only Hollywood film that Harry Styles would have recently joined, since the British will also star alongside Brad Pitt in director Dan Gilroy’s new film. Find out more details below.

Eugenia Rivas Calderón Lover of movies that shake your hand so you can come in and live in them. My favorite directors are Wim Wenders and Yorgos Lanthimos, but I live it watching Derry Girls.
