Guadalajara, Jal.- Once again, Guadalajara was the municipality of Jalisco with the highest generation of formal jobs, since four thousand 583 new jobs were registered last October, according to information from the Mexican Institute of Social Security ( IMSS) and the Institute of Statistical Information and Geography of Jalisco.
This figure is among the best 10 in terms of job creation in the last 20 years in Guadalajara.
Likewise, the institutes report that from August to October, the period in which the job recovery began during the coronavirus pandemic, 12,395 new jobs have been created in Guadalajara. In August, 4,121 were registered, while in September, 3,691.
As of October, Guadalajara has 698 thousand 511 jobs registered with the IMSS.
Similarly, it is detailed that in the face of the health contingency, from March to October Guadalajara is the municipality with the highest population density in the Metropolitan Area with the least loss of formal employment, since it had a decrease of only -1.70, a figure that is by below that registered at the state level, which was -2.69 and at the national level, -3.45. And it represents 39% of the state.
