Gran Turismo 7 was one of the titles confirmed during the presentation of PlayStation 5. The new installment originally had a launch window for the first half of this year; however, a clue suggested that the title would come later than planned.
This was just confirmed this morning, as Sony revealed that Gran Turismo 7 was delayed and will not be available in 2021. So fans of Polyphony Digital’s work should be patient, as the game will take months to debut.

Gran Turismo 7 is now coming to PS5 until 2022
A Sony spokesperson stated that Gran Turismo 7 will be released until 2022, as its development was impacted by the pandemic. The project goes through some problems in its production, as the Polyphony Digital team has had to gradually adapt to a different pace of work.
Due to this, it is not possible to release Gran Turismo 7 in mid or late 2021. The game does not have a new confirmed release window, it was only stated that it will arrive sometime in 2022.
“GT7 has been affected by COVID-related production challenges and will therefore change from 2021 to 2022. With the ongoing pandemic, it is a dynamic and changing situation and some critical aspects of game production have slowed down. During the last months. We will share more details on the GT7 launch date when they become available, “the company stated.
For now, Sony hasn’t revealed whether some of its other major PlayStation 5 productions will suffer from something similar in the coming months. We will keep you informed of any news in this regard.
