Ghost of Tsushima debuted just over a week ago, but that doesn’t mean Sucker Punch is already resting on its laurels. In fact, the developer studio has continued to polish the experience and it is thanks to this that today it received a new update that added a new level of difficulty.

Sucker Punch announced that update 1.05 for Ghost of Tsushima is now available for download. In it, players will receive the Lethal difficulty level, which will make the open world experience much more brutal.

What happens is that with this new level of difficulty the enemies of Ghost of Tsushima will detect Jin faster and will be more aggressive. Furthermore, his weapons will deal more damage to Jin, although the protagonist’s katana will also be more powerful. Finally, the time window for a parry will be much more accurate.

With these changes and tweaks, Sucker Punch promises to deliver a more brutal experience for those left wanting a bit more in Ghost of Tsushima.

Sucker Punch also took this opportunity to enhance the Ghost of Tsushima experience in other ways. Especially in the field of accessibility.

So update 1.05 also adds a lower intensity combat mode. It is an option that seeks to maintain the combat style of Ghost of Tsushima, but relaxing some elements so that it is more elements and more room for error. This can be seen in settings like enemies will not attack you when you are healing.

That’s not all, since it also added more options to the subtitles and text of the game. With this you can increase the font size of elements such as objectives and interaction notifications. You can also try different text styles and colors for the subtitles.
