Despite the Covid-19 pandemic that affects Brazil in an excessive way, Flamengo stayed with the first leg in the final of the domestic tournament after beating Fluminense as a visitor in the match played at the Maracanã Stadium without an audience.

The pandemic does not stop football in Brazil and this was evident in the final of the Carioca Championship, where Flamengo took advantage after winning 2-1 on a visit to Fluminense in the first leg of the contest.

The Copa Libertadores champion opened the score at 28 ′, with a goal from Pedro after a great assist from ‘Gabigol’.
