The FIFA date left several infected with Covid-19 in different teams, one of the most affected being South Korea, which was Mexico’s first rival on the tour in Europe. In addition, some Liga Mx players summoned to South American teams lived with elements that have now tested positive.

South Korea detected two new cases of contagion in its squad yesterday, reaching 10 infected, including striker Hwang Hee-chan, who had minutes on the court on Friday during Mexico’s 3-2 victory against the Asians. The Leipzig striker came on in the 68th minute replacing Hwang Ui-jo.

The other infected member is a staff member. Just hours before the friendly game against Tricolor, South Korea reported seven cases in the team and shortly after detected another positive.

Uruguay is another of the teams that was diminished by cases of coronavirus when the players Luis Suárez, Rodrigo Muñoz, Matías Viñas and the manager Matías Faral tested positive. All those infected were detected after Friday’s game against Colombia.

In the charrúa team, they have now detected seven more cases, of which two are players and five members of the staff, after having faced Brazil on Tuesday. In the squad was the Cruz Azul forward Jonathan Rodríguez, who lived with the infected in previous training sessions.

In the Ecuadorian team, Enner Valencia, Alan Franco and Diego Palacios are infected, who were in contact with Ángel Mena, scorer of the León club.

The national representative of Egypt also suffers from Covid-19, because his star player Mohamed Salah, Liverpool forward of the English League, tested positive again although he is asymptomatic and remains isolated.

Juan Carlos Osorio, former technical director of the Mexican national team, is in recovery after being infected, although his condition has been complicated and he uses an oxygen tank, according to Directv Sports.
