If yesterday it was news because it activated its 5G network in five Spanish cities, today Orange brings us another important novelty, but in this case, aimed at those with fewer resources. And the fact is that the French operator has just announced its new Orange Social Rate, a combined fiber + mobile plan designed to « reduce the digital divide ».
This rate is the first on the market adapted to the needs of the most vulnerable households and it may be requested by beneficiary families of the Minimum Living Income. It has a monthly fee of 14.95 euros per month and, for that price, it includes 100 Mbps symmetric fiber, a fixed line and a mobile line with 3 GB of data.
Fiber, fixed and mobile for 15 euros per month
Orange assures that one of its objectives has always been to reduce the digital divide for the most vulnerable groups and, with this in mind, it has just announced the new Orange Social Rate. This combined plan no fixed term That comes, according to the operator, to meet the connectivity needs of families with limited resources, especially those related to education and entertainment for children.
For only 14.95 euros per month, those customers who contract the Orange Social Rate will have access (for 12 renewable months) to:
Symmetric fiber 100 Mbps with router included without rental or registration or installation fee.
Landline with unlimited calls to national landlines.
Mobile line with unlimited calls to national landlines and mobiles and a 3 GB data bonus. Orange will offer the possibility of acquiring terminals in a single payment method to meet the needs of these customers.

Other similar plans on the market would be, for example, Yoigo’s 3 GB Sinfín for 47 euros, Movistar’s Fusion 0 for 50 euros, Vodafone’s One Unlimited for 54.99 euros and, within Orange itself, Love Lite of 45.95 euros per month.

Specifically, households that want to opt for the Orange Social Rate may request it, between October 1 and 31, through the specific line 900 909 228, where it will be confirmed if they meet the conditions for their contracting and they will be informed of the way to present the necessary documentation:
