The fourth film of Evangelion, known as Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 Thrice Upon A Time, has suffered enough from the pandemic. Originally intended to be released in the middle of this year, the film had to be delayed until 2021. The good news is that its production is almost complete, and it looks like Japanese theaters will receive it in a timely manner.
Via Twitter, the official account of the film revealed that they had already concluded with the voice recordings, in addition to confirming the exact date on which it will be screened in theaters of Japan. It will be next January 23 when the Japanese can enjoy the conclusion of Rebuild of Evangelion on the big screen, and although there is a possibility that it will be delayed again, the situation of the COVID-19 in the land of the rising sun it seems to be under control.
