On September 20, the emmy awards 2020. In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the United States Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has decided to go ahead with the ceremony, although this will require security measures. Comedian and presenter Jimmy Kimmel will be in charge of leading the gala, which will be broadcast in the United States on ABC (in Spain it will be available on Movistar +). The creative and artistic prizes, with around 80 categories, will be presented one week before the main ones, and this year they will be announced in a virtual gala. Watchmen (26 nominations), The Wonderful Mrs. Maisel (20), Succession (18) and Ozark (18) are the series that have accumulated the most nominations.
