Something that has given much to talk about with the start of the new generation of consoles is the price increase that many companies are deciding to apply. Although Take-Two, the first to do so, believed that others would not follow this path, the truth is that it seems to be the new standard and today one more announced that it will raise the price of one of its next generation games and it seems that it will with the later ones.

We are talking about Electronic Arts, one of the most important video game developers and distributors. A few hours ago, he confirmed through a press release that Madden NFL 21, one of the first next-generation games to be released, will debut at a price of $ 69.99 USD, $ 10 USD more than the conventional price.

This new version of the game will be called Madden NFL 21 NXT LVL and users of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S will be able to play it from next December 4.

It is important to mention that Electronic Arts has already confirmed that it will also launch an edition of FIFA 21 for next-generation consoles, but has not confirmed if the new versions will also be sold independently or if they will also have the price increase, although apparently they will. .

In case you missed it: Xbox Game Studios could increase the price of its exclusive triple A games.

Madden NFL 21 NXT LVL Will Feature Additions That Will Justify The Price Increase

You might be wondering what additions Madden NFL 21 will have for next-gen consoles that justify the extra price. Well, it will take realism to the next level not only with graphic improvements (lighting, rendering and audio), but the gameplay will also be improved, thanks to greater fluidity with real player specifications thanks to Next Gen Stats of the NFL.

This information includes details of the movement, acceleration rate and speed of each player, as well as the routes they take and will be reflected in the gameplay in real time each time the user runs, stops and changes direction.

The gameplay also highlights the addition of next-gen repetitions, which will not only be normal repetitions, but details of the movements and various statistics will appear that could help the player to improve their strategies.

The gaming experience will be more immersive in Madden NFL 21 NXT LVL

Other details that will also contribute to the immersion are better lighting, character rendering, realistic weather and a superior audio experience that will make the player feel in the stadium and, of course, the loading times will be much shorter.

Additionally, Electronic Arts confirmed that Madden NFL NXT LVL will be sold in a standalone edition for next-generation consoles and will include “additional high-quality Madden Ultimate Team content,” although what it will consist of was not specified.

We remind you that if you purchased the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One version, you can upgrade to the NXT LVL version at no additional cost, but you must have a PlayStation 5 or an Xbox Series X | S, respectively, and do so before the launch of Madden NFL 22.
