The protagonist of ‘Baby Driver’, ‘I Care a Lot’ and ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’Eiza Gonzlez, Oscar-nominated director Matthew Heineman (‘The Correspondent’) and Linden Entertainment have partnered to make a biographical film centered on the life of the iconic Mexican film star Mara Flix. Gonzalez will play the star and will also produce the film alongside Dana Harris and Nicole King for Linden Entertainment. For his part, Walter Rivera will be the executive producer of the film on behalf of the heirs of Mara Flix, “La Doa”, one of the most successful Mexican actresses of all time with more than 47 films starring in countries such as Mexico, France, Italy. and Argentina.
History will show Flix from the agitated northern city of Sonora, until he went on to meet personalities of the caliber of the president of Mexico, Diego Rivera and the artist Frida Kahlo, as well as receiving the most important cultural award in France, the Legion of Honor.
