Now, if DOOM Eternal is coming to Switch, why did stores cancel so many presales? What happens is that it will be a release that will only be available in digital format.

“While DOOM Eternal is 100% on track for a digital-only release on Nintendo Switch, the absence of a physical in-store release resulted in canceled presales,” explained a Bethesda spokesperson. “Affected customers will receive full refunds and should contact their preferred stores for more information.”
