As ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ continues unstoppable at the box office, Disney has decided to confirm the distribution model of the great titles that remain to be released in 2021, at least in the United States.
So, movies like ‘Eternals‘,’Charm‘,’The last duel‘,’West Side Story‘,’Ron gives error‘ and ‘The King’s Man: The First Mission‘will have an exclusive theatrical release and won’t hit streaming until weeks later.
Most of these titles will reach Disney’s streaming platform (for all subscribers and at no additional cost) 45 days after their theatrical release, except for ‘Charm‘, which will have a 30-day window in order to get to Disney + just in time for Christmas.
‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ has raised more than 119 million dollars nationally (USA) and 257.6 million worldwide thanks to a relatively low drop in its second weekend. About ‘Eternals‘, the next Marvel title to come, will be released on November 5 as we say, only in theaters.
